About Abigail
She/Her
Abigail is an Australian actor, writer, composer and theatre maker. She specialises in queer theatre, environmentalism, feminism, comedy, music, and reinterpreting texts of antiquity. It is her mission to create and be a part of the telling of stories that champion justice and humanity.
She is inspired by the works that mesh the stylised and the real. She strongly believes in telling lies in order to portray a truth.
Her hobbies include visual art, roller-skating, figure ice-skating, rock-climbing, sewing, accent work, vegetarian cooking, and making little songs with cartoons about famous tragedies.
Training
Abigail has undergone short-term training at NIDA for acting (2015) and WAAPA for musical theatre (2017). She graduated from John Curtain Collage of the Arts in 2017 with honours in the Gifted and Talented programs for Drama and Musical Theatre. In 2018 she completed the Shakespeare Summer School at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, as well as a short coarse in stage combat. As of 2021 she is a graduate of the Victorian Collage of the Arts with a BFA in Theatre Making, which included a three week residency with Arena Theatre Company in Bendigo.
Music
Abigail has been composing music specifically for the purposes of musical theatre performance since high school. She is inspired by folk music, cabaret, Sondheim, and good old-fashioned rock'n'roll.
She also has experience in atmospheric soundscape design, and instrumental background music. She is an accomplished vocalist and proficient in basic guitar, piano, accordion, bass and violin.

Acting and Modelling
As much as Abigail enjoys creating and performing in her own works, she is always excited to be part of someone else's, and works hard to deliver what a project needs. She is a dynamic and committed actor and model with training and experience on stage, screen, and photography.
